The American Society of Health Informatics Managers (ASHIM®) is the leading association for technical professionals who specialize in Health IT (HIT). ASHIM is a non-governmental organization that acts in the public interest by fostering professional standards in health IT professionals through its setting and enforcement of the education, examination, experience, ethics, and other requirements for the Certified Health Informatics Systems Professional (CHISP®) certification.
